You should note, as I did, that the protagonist goes by the nickname Tiki and the author's name is Kiki. I decided to go for it anyway, since it seemed like I was piling up a stack of YA fantasy books in my to-read pile. I was really on the fence about deciding to read The Faerie Ring, too. The reviews for this book are overwhelmingly positive on Goodreads, though, so maybe I'm just crazy. I seriously considered giving it two, but then I remembered that I didn't really like anything about it, so I stopped feeling guilty. I felt a little bad about giving a book one star. ![]() |
